Podcast Series: Highlighting Ms. Ambos

In seventh grade, students have the opportunity to view the microscopic organisms that envelope our world!  The students observe cultures of four different types of protists and work in groups to create models of the energy flow in each organism's environment.  In the podcast below, students are gathering evidence of photosynthesis and behavior that indicates the food chain within the culture.

In addition to teaching seventh grade science, Ms. Ambos serves as the Professional Development Chair for the National Association of Biology Teachers.

I like the podcast. I saw you covering the crossing guard today while the firetrucks rolled past and heard that you helped some community members during the hurricane. Thanks for all you are doing for our community.
